My work traces a movement from immersion within systems of power and hyper-reality toward observation, stillness, and presence.

I’m interested in how images construct meaning, how those constructions shape our experience of reality, and what remains when we return to direct human experience.

I hold degrees in photography and biochemistry. I also create work for commercial clients.
