A series reflecting on perception and the construction of identity through images, reflection, and mediated environments.
Social Echoes is a 2018 photography series exploring how identity and perception are shaped within mediated environments. Through mirrors, reflections, and performative gestures, the work examines how the self is rehearsed and duplicated, existing increasingly through images rather than direct experience.
Using analogue processes, the series slows the act of looking, drawing attention to a hyperreal condition where representation begins to replace presence.
